Wine

Penfolds The Max Schubert Cabernet Shiraz commemorates winemaker Max Schubert's contribution to Penfolds and personifies the style he championed more than half a century ago.

Like Schubert's legendary 1962 Bin 60A, it is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Shiraz from the Barossa Valley and Coonawarra. It spends 15 months in 100 per cent new American oak hogsheads.

A deep dark red, Penfolds The Max Schubert Cabernet Shiraz has assertive red fruit flavours, formidable tannins and well integrated oak. Cellaring potential is 25 years.
